You, my beautiful friend, are a one of a kind unique design. You have been stamped with the designers very imprint. You are not some off the rack, cheap, basement brand discount piece. No shade, I love myself a good sale. Clearance, yes please even better. I hunt for bargains all day everyday but you, my friend are not a red priced, line slashed, final sale item.

In the world of fashion there is an understanding. A design is marked by it’s designer. I am not just buying into a shirt, pant or pair of shoes. it is not merely the purchase of an item or a few but the buying into a brand. when you put on a Polo It is more than a shirt. You are wearing a lifestyle. It is a piece of Mr. Ralph Lauren himself. That very garment is a portion of his dream, brand an entire lifestyle. Much the same a Chanel bag is more than leather and shiny hardware. It is the empire built on the gifted woman who made famous the little black dress. It is a whole movement darling. DVF made a mark as she honored a new era of working women. Her dresses celebrated a woman’s ease, comfort and independence. I can go on and on. Often times a fashion house has a change in a designer and the entire aesthetic shifts. A designer marks his/her design. The very breath, depth, essence and creativity of the designer is stamped to the work. It is marked. Like a child bears it’s mother’s traits, DNA and overall way so a design is marked by the designer.

As a creative I love to make. Sometimes when I walk into a fabric store with no end goal in mind. I allow the fabric to inspire me. Once inspiration strikes, I create in the new found direction. It is emotional and sensational. You my friend are not here off of emotions and whimsy. You are a well planned, well crafted, desired design. Your physical makeup, natural gifting and nuanced inclinations are all part of a master plan. That master plan is a plan for you. A plan drafted by the creator. All mighty God. King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The same God who placed the stars in the sky and has the sun and moon serving their purpose. There is an equally significant meaning and purpose for you. The sun was made to rise and shine set and heat. You were made with meaning too. You were made to shine too. Shine the light of your gifts, your beauty, and the light of your creator.
